Hurricane Michael | Geomni Updates

Storm Watch

Geomni owns and operates our own fleet of fixed-wing aircraft strategically located throughout the U.S. to best serve our customers following a major storm or catastrophe event.

October 15, 2018

With unmatched speed and scale, Geomni had flown thousands of square miles capturing post-CAT imagery and documenting loss in the wake of Hurricane Michael. Impacted areas captured include all along the Florida panhandle coastline as well as other parts of Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. Geomni’s pre-storm baseline imagery and post-hurricane Ortho and oblique imagery is now available with Geomni Roof and Geomni Property data packages.

Imagery capture flights by Geomni have continued throughout the weekend. Thanks to the effort of our large fleet of aircraft and dedicated imagery capture teams, aided by clear weather, up and down the Florida panhandle post-hurricane high-resolution imagery has been captured, processed, and published to the Geomni Web Viewer. Areas inland including hurricane affected areas of Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia have also been captured with damages documented. Pre and post storm imagery is available via the Geomni Web Viewer.
